Ltd., a prominent player in the plastic manufacturing industry based in Telangana, has successfully reduced its annual carbon emissions by 430 tons through a seamless transition to solar power. The pivotal move, initiated in 2020, involved the installation of a cutting-edge 311 KW solar plant at its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. This sustainable endeavor now generates an impressive 4.54 lakh units of clean electricity annually, resulting in substantial savings of INR 33 lakhs.
Choosing Freyr Energy for the solar plant installation was a strategic decision for Bhavika Plastek, as highlighted by Mr. Kameshwar Rao, the Managing Director. He emphasized the company’s growing environmental consciousness amid its expansion in the plastic manufacturing sector. The successful investment has not only proven financially prudent but has also demonstrated the company’s dedication to responsible business practices. The solar initiative’s impact is equivalent to planting 4,917 trees each year, underlining its positive environmental contribution.
